Thinking of Spring - Voile Scarves

I have finally learned how to use my serger. And, oh, how I love it! Granted, I'm not a pro by any stretch, but today I made a double layer voile scarf and it was so easy! I love the neat edge. I'm planning on buying more voile and making more scarves.... the fabric is a sort of purple gay irridescent with a blue thread running through - hence the fringe is blue. It took longer to make the fringe by pulling threads than it did to serge the entire length along two sides.

Not the best picture, but crafters will get the idea. It does look a bit like a napkin in the first shot and well, I might just have to make some napkins!
